Red Sea Global (RSG) introduces a bold new destination for excitement and leisure with ADRENA – an adventure and entertainment district designed to deliver thrilling sports and lifestyle offerings across The Red Sea destination and beyond

A destination in its own right, ADRENA is a 20-minute drive from Shura Island’s resorts. Set within the pristine natural beauty of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, and covering an area the size of 16 football fields, ADRENA offers 24 immersive activities curated for both day and night, catering to different interests, moods, and accessibility needs.

Inspired by the words ‘adrenaline’, ‘arena’, and ‘dream’, ADRENA captures the spirit of excitement, movement, and imagination. ADRENA is led and operated by Red Sea Sports & Entertainment Company (RSSE) – the RSG subsidiary behind activity brands WAMA, Galaxea, and Akun.

Guests can sample unique land and water experiences including surfing, wakeboarding, cliff diving and skateboarding as well as other high-energy pursuits – each thoughtfully designed to celebrate the Red Sea’s vibrant coastal lifestyle.

It also utilizes a closed-loop system for drawing water and circulating it throughout its attractions and reduces waste by reusing freshwater for irrigation across the district.

Design & Sustainability

Sustainability is central to ADRENA and reflects Red Sea Global’s regenerative approach. The district’s buildings use advanced 3D concrete printing, enabling distinctive architecture while reducing material use, construction waste, and environmental impact. It also runs entirely on 100% renewable energy, as well as applies RSG’s responsible development practices, including dark sky solutions that reduce light pollution and protect ecosystems. Water conservation is built into its closed-loop system, which filters and circulates seawater through attractions before returning it clean to the environment. All freshwater used in the district is also repurposed for irrigation.

Designed with inclusivity at the forefront, with zero-depth pool entry and adaptable activities such as bodyboarding, paddleboarding, diving, and snorkeling. Its attractions, pathways, and equipment accommodate different abilities and skill levels, helping every visitor enjoy a safe, seamless experience.
